A surgeon removed a VOG grenade from the body of a wounded Ukrainian soldier.
“While examining the body of a wounded soldier, a surgeon discovered a VOG grenade that burned under the skin. The surgeon made an immediate decision to operate. In a few minutes, ammunition was successfully removed from the wounded man's body and handed over to sappers,” the Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
In the near future, the soldier will be evacuated for further rehabilitation and recovery.
As reported, in January, doctors performed a unique operation to remove an unexploded VOG grenade from the body of a Ukrainian serviceman.
