As part of his visit to Paris, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has received the Legion of Honor order from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
Macron published a video of him presenting the award to Zelensky on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.
"Tribute to Ukraine and its people. Tribute to you, dear Volodymyr, for your courage and commitment," the French leader wrote.
During the award ceremony, Zelensky said it was not he who deserved this distinction, but all Ukrainian people.

The Legion of Honor medal is France's highest award for civil merit.
