Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,330 over past day

Russia has lost an estimated 1,433,230 troops in its full-scale war against Ukraine since February 24, 2022, including 1,330 killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.

The updated figures were published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook and reported by Ukrinform.

According to the General Staff, Russia's total combat losses as of July 22, 2026, also include: 12,163 tanks (+2 over the past day); 24,982 armored combat vehicles (+4); 46,492 artillery systems (+57); 1,958 multiple launch rocket systems (+3); 1,513 air defense systems (no change); 438 aircraft (no change); 354 helicopters (no change); 1,981 ground robotic systems (+11); 421,900 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,610); 4,933 cruise missiles (no change); 34 warships and boats (no change); 2 submarines (no change); 123,702 vehicles and fuel tankers (+355); 4,450 units of special military equipment (+9).

The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that 188 combat engagements between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on July 21, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Sloviansk sector.
