"On the night of June 9, the Russian military shelled the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv city. As a result of the enemy shelling, three people were killed and five more were injured. In addition, a restaurant was completely destroyed and an educational establishment was damaged," the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to the State Emergency Service department in Kharkiv region, fires of the total area of about 500 sqm broke out as a result of the shelling. 50 SES officers were involved in the liquidation.
The law enforcement officers opened a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As of the morning of June 9, according to the Administration’s data, two people were killed and four were injured in the shelling of Novobavarsky district.
