Donetsk Region affected by enemy fire 29 times over past day

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Eighteen settlements came under enemy fire. Russian invaders struck the city of Avdiivka eight times. The enemy also fired at such settlements as Kurakhove, Krasnohorivka, Chasiv Yar, Sloviansk, Zalizne, Toretsk, Kurdiumivka, New York, Ocheretyne, Raihorodok, Ivanopillia, Nelipivka, Novoselivka Persha, Pervomaiske, Pryshyb, Fedorivka, Khrestyshche. Russians used the S-300 surface-to-air missile systems, Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), artillery and tanks.

A total of 61 civilian objects were damaged and destroyed, including 40 residential houses (namely, four apartment blocks), two schools, coke and chemical plant, power substation, railway, administrative buildings, household buildings, ore-processing plant, etc.

Russian troops fired at a beach in Chasiv Yar, causing casualties among adults and children.

The police documented the war crimes committed by the Russian military. Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
