As Ukrinform reported earlier, Gawkowski previously stated Russia's war with Poland was underway in cyberspace, with Moscow attacking Warsaw the most among all European Union member states. According to the official, Russia will try to influence the course of the presidential elections in Poland, which will be held in the first half of 2025.

The first round of the presidential election will be held on May 18, with a possible runoff on June 1. As of today, the current mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, has the best chance of winning the popular vote.
