President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that four additional units are being prepared for launch at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

He announced this in his evening address, Ukrinform reports.

“We are preparing to launch four new power units in Ukraine. The first phase includes two units, adding 2.2 GW, followed by a second phase – two more units, American-made by the way, from Westinghouse, also contributing 2.2 GW. We are working with our American partners to complete this plant, which will become our most powerful one,” said Zelensky.
