აფხაზეთი/ Abkhazia

აფხაზეთი საქართველოს უკიდურესი ჩრდილო-დასავლეთის ისტორიული პროვინციაა, რომელიც ამჟამად რუსეთის ფედერაციის მიერაა ოკუპირებული. 

აფხაზეთის ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკის დედაქალაქი სოხუმია, რომელიც მდებარეობს შავი ზღვის სანაპიროზე ზღვის დონიდან 5-140 მ.-ზე, ხოლო თბილისიდან 405 კმ.-ის (რკინიგზით) დაშორებით.
ქართულ წყაროებში აფხაზეთი პირველად მოხსენიებულია VIII საუკუნის ისტორიული მოვლენების აღწერისას, ბერძნულ წყაროებში კი ტომის სახელწოდება „აფსილებისა" და „აბაზგების" სახით ახ. წ. I-II საუკუნეებიდან გვხვდება.
ოდითგან აფხაზეთის ტერიტორია კოლხეთის სამეფოს შემადგენლობაში შედიოდა.

1921-1991 წლებში, რუსული საბჭოთა ანექსიის პირობებში, აფხაზეთი ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკის სახით შედიოდა საქართველოს სოციალისტური რესპუბლიკის შემადგენლობაში. 1991 წელს ქართველმა ხალხმა მეორედ შეძლო სახელმწიფოებრივი დამოუკიდებლობის აღდგენა და შეიქმნა საქართველოს რესპუბლიკა, რომლის შემადგენლობაშიც, კონსტიტუციის თანახმად, აფხაზეთი ფართო ავტონომიური უფლებებითაა წარმოდგენილი.
საქართველოს სახელმწიფოებრივი დამოუკიდებლობის წინააღმდეგ ბრძოლის პროცესში რუსულმა იმპერიულმა ძალებმა აფხაზეთში სეპარატისტული განწყობის კულტივირება მოახერხეს და, შესაბამისად, რუსეთმა 1992-1993 წლებში აფხაზეთში რუსეთ-საქართველოს ომის ინსპირირება შეძლო. ამ ომს მოყვა აფხაზეთიდან მოსახლეობის 80%-მდე (უპირატესად, ქართველების, აფხაზების, რუსებისა და სხვების) გამოდევნა.
2008 წლის 26 აგვისტოს რუსეთის ხელისუფლებამ დაასრულა აფხაზეთის სრული ანექსია და ფორმალურად ცნო აფხაზეთის სახელმწიფოს დამოუკიდებლობა. სინამდვილეში კი ეს არის აფხაზეთის ტერიტორიის მიტაცება, სადაც მრავალრიცხოვანი რუსული სამხედრო შენაერთები აკონტროლებენ პოლიტიკურ ვითარებას.

მიუხედავად რუსული იმპერიული ძალების მცდელობისა, აფხაზეთის ავტონომიური რესპუბლიკა სამართლებრივად საქართველოს სახელმწიფოს შემადგენელი ნაწილია!

Abkhazia is the extreme northwestern historical province of Georgia. At present it is occupied by Russian Federation.

The capital city of Abkhazian Autonomous Republic is Sukhumi which is located at 5-140 m above the sea level at the Black Sea coast, in 405 km (by the railway) from Tbilisi.
Georgian sources refer to Abkhazia for the first time when describing historical events dating back to the 8th century. However, the name of the tribe as "Aphsils" and "Abazgs" has been mentioned in the ancient Greek sources since the I-II cc. A.D.

Sine olden times, the territory of Abkhazia was included in the composition of the Kolkhida kingdom.

In 1921-1991, under the conditions of Russian Soviet annexation, Abkhazia was in the composition of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic as an autonomous republic. In 1991 the Georgian people succeeded, for the second time, to restore the state independence and to from the Republic of Georgia in composition of which Abkhazia was represented with broad autonomous rights under the Constitution.
In the process of struggle against the state independence of Georgia the Russian imperial forces succeeded to form the separatist public mood and in Abkhazia in 1992-1993, and, consequently, managed to inspire Russian-Georgian war in Abkhazia. As a result of that war about 80% of population (mainly Georgians, Abkhazs, Russians and others) were displaced from Abkhazia.

On August 26, 2008 the Russian authorities completed the full annexation of Abkhazia and officially recognized the independence of Abkhazian state. However, actually, it is the appropriation of the territory of Abkhazia where the numerous Russian military units are controlling internal political situation. In spite of the efforts of Russian imperial forces, Abkhazian autonomous republic is the integral legitimate part of Georgia!
