The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
The situation has not changed significantly in the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna directions. The enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Hremiach, Mykhalchyna Sloboda and Kolos in the Chernihiv region and the settlements of Starykove and Atynske in the Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy concentrated groups of troops of the Western Military District, defending previously occupied lines and systematically firing at the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces to restrain their actions.
The invaders used artillery to shell the areas of the settlements of Bazaliivka, Peremoha, Verkhnii Saltiv, Nortsivka, Chepil, Dmytrivka, Barvinkove, Mospanove, Velyka Babka, Sorokivka, and Pryshyb.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy's troops continue to defend, regroup and try to improve their tactical position. The aggressor shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops near Dolyna, Mazanivka, Dibrivne, Hrushuvakha, Adamivka, Husarivka, and Ivanivka.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on encircling Ukrainian troops near Lysychansk from the south and west, establishing complete control over the Luhansk region. Enemy forces are conducting assault operations with the aim of blocking the logistical support of Ukrainian units.
In the Lysychansk area, Ukrainian positions came under artillery fire outside the settlements of Siversk, Bilohorivka, Lysychansk and Vovchoyarivka. The enemy is trying to take control of a section of the Bakhmut - Lysychansk highway, but is not succeeding.
At the same time, the enemy intensified combat operations in the Kramatorsk direction.
Near Bakhmut, the enemy is shelling the areas of the settlements of Berestove, Yakovlivka, Vidrodzhennia, Mayorsk and the Vuhledar thermal power plant using artillery. Russian forces are trying to improve their tactical position outside Pokrovske, but are not succeeding.
In the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia directions, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions using howitzers and rocket artillery along the contact line.
In the Southern Buh area, the enemy continued shelling Ukrainian positions using mortars, guns and rocket artillery outside the settlements of Potiomkyne, Bereznehuvate, Partyzanske, Kyselivka, Shevchenkove, and Tavriiske. Russian forces also conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.
The enemy continues to keep three carriers of high-precision weapons in readiness for launching missile strikes on targets across Ukraine.
Ukrainian aircraft and missile and artillery units continue to fire at manpower and military equipment of the Russian occupiers.
