Enemy fires almost 40 shells at Nikopol overnight

Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“The Russians again cover Nikopol with Grad and heavy artillery shelling. They fired from the temporarily occupied Enerhodar at three communities - Chervonohryhorivka, Marhanets and Nikopol. Nikopol was struck the most. The enemy fired almost 40 shells at the city at night," he wrote.

According to him, the enemy attacks caused two fires. Firefighters have already extinguished the flames.

About 15 multi-storey and private buildings, utility buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Russian shells hit a local lyceum, industrial and transport enterprises. Production facilities and property were also damaged.

Fortunately, no one was injured, Reznichenko stressed.

In addition, units of the Air Command East shot down another enemy "Shahed" drone in the Synelnykove district.
