Kyiv comes under combined attack by Russian drones, ballistic missiles

This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and Head of the municipal military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, who delivered updates on the fallout from the attack throughout the night.

05:33 - Tkachenko on consequences of the attack:

- Two residential buildings damaged in the Solomyanskyi district.

- A fire broke out in a 5-storey building. 18 injured. 13 received medical assistance at the scene, 6 hospitalized. Blaze localized. Firefighters and medics are at the scene.

- At another location, the enemy strike caused destruction at an apartment block.

The humanitarian headquarters is deployed at 9a Akademika Shalimova (school No. 67). Rescuers are clearing the rubble and searching for those potentiallyu trapped.

- In the Sviatoshynskyi district, the latest attack damaged a residential building. A residential building and an educational institution were damaged in Solomyanskyi district. "Currently, 16 people have been injured across the capital. Most of them – in the Solomianskyi district. Two people in Darnytskyi and one in Dniprovskyi district also sought medical assistance," Vitaliy Klitschko wrote.

02:35 - Tymur Tkachenko reports 12 casualties and updates on the consequences of the attacks in 12 locations in Kyiv: "As of now, we are documenting the consequences of the attack in 12 locations in Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts.

Twelve casualties. We are verifying the reports."

Currently, the threat persists, Tymur Tkachenko added. Incoming targets are being recorded on the approaches to Kyiv. New groups of enemy drones are also being spotted in other regions, which may be heading toward the capital. The missile threat also persists.

The head of the KMMA once again asked residents not to post on social media the consequences of enemy strikes and the operation of air defense forces.

01:45 - A man with burns was hospitalized in the Sviatoshynskyi district, Tkachenko reported.
