138 engagements on frontline, enemy lost 140 troops in Pokrovsk sector

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing an update on the situation as of 22:00 on Monday, July 14, according to Ukrinform.

"Currently, there have been a total of 138 combat engagements. Today, the terrorist state launched two missile strikes, using two missiles, 64 air strikes, and deployed 100 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders used 1,168 loitering munitions and carried out 3,980 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas," the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, there were 19 engagements with Russian invaders. The enemy launched 7 airstrikes, dropping 22 guided bombs, and carried out 345 attacks, including seven with multiple rocket launch systems.

Today, the enemy attacked four times in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, in the areas of Vovchansk and Kamianka.

The aggressor attempted five assaults on Ukrainian strongholds in the Kupiansk sector near Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, and toward Nova Kruhliakivka and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 Russian attacks today in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Karpivka, Novyi Myr, Kolodiazi, Serebrianka, Torske, and toward Novoserhiivka and Shandryholove. Eight attacks are still ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six enemy assaults. Occupation forces tried to advance toward Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka.

Currently, in the Kramatorsk sector, our defenders have halted four enemy assaults. The enemy attacked toward Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, our troops today repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, Dyliivka, and toward Katerynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, during this day the aggressor launched 37 attacks on Ukrainian strongholds near the settlements of Novoekonomichne, Myrne, Rodynske, Fedorivka, Razine, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novopavlivka, Oleksiivka, and toward Volodymyrivka, Pokrovsk, and Myrnohrad. Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 enemy assaults while seven engagements are still ongoing.

Preliminary estimates indicate that today the occupiers in the Pokrovsk sector suffered 140 casualties, killed and wounded. Ukrainian forces destroyed two infantry fighting vehicles, two vehicles, 21 drones, four drone antennas, two artillery pieces, a satellite communication terminal, and also struck a Russian all-terrain vehicle.

In the Novopavlivka sector, our troops repelled 16 enemy assaults near the settlements of Novokhatske, Zaporizhzhia, Komar, Myrne, Piddubne, Novosilka, Voskresenka, Vilne Pole, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole, and Temyrivka. Two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but carried out an airstrike on Bilohiria.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled one attempt to advance toward Kamianske. Novodanilivka and Plavni were hit by airstrikes.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the aggressor made nine unsuccessful attempts to advance toward Ukrainian positions. Odradokamianka was attacked with unguided aerial rockets.

"Today we praise the soldiers of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Corporal General Oleksii Almazov and the 1st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade named after Ivan Bohun, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment," the General Staff concluded.
