As a result of a combined attack on Kyiv, 24 people were injured and four were killed, including two children.

Ukrinform reports this, citing the Telegram channels of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) Tymur Tkachenko.

“As of now, we are recording the consequences of the attack at more than 20 locations in Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, and Desnianskyi districts,” Tymur Tkachenko reported at 6:20.

Significant damage has been inflicted on residential areas in Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.

In Darnytskyi district, the Russians destroyed part of a five-story residential building with a direct strike. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site to unblock people trapped under the rubble. Other damaged sites include 9- and 16-story apartment buildings, a private house, a parking lot, and a kindergarten.

In Dniprovskyi district, a 25-story residential building was damaged, and a drone hit a yard next to a 9-story building, setting cars on fire. Dozens of vehicles were damaged at multiple locations.

In Solomianskyi district, a private residential building caught fire, though the blaze has since been localized.

Shevchenkivskyi district was also heavily affected: several non-residential buildings, offices, and cars of ordinary Kyiv residents were damaged.

In Holosiivskyi district, fires broke out at several sites early in the morning. More than 10 buildings had windows blown out, and cars were damaged.

In Desnianskyi district, consequences were recorded in a non-residential zone. Damage was also reported in Obolonskyi district.

Across Kyiv, the number of damaged sites will once again reach the hundreds, with thousands of windows shattered. A shopping center in the city center was also damaged.

In several parts of the city, debris from downed targets has been recorded. Rescuers are working through each site.

According to preliminary information, at least three Kyiv residents were killed and 24 injured with varying degrees of severity. Among the dead is a 14-year-old girl. At least five children, aged between 7 and 17, are among the injured. New data are constantly coming in.

Later, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported on Telegram that the death toll in the combined Russian attack on Kyiv had risen to four, including two children.

“It has been a difficult night for Kyiv. Emergency services are working at the sites hit by Russia’s combined strike. Unfortunately, there are casualties. As of now, four people have been killed, including two children, and more than 20 injured,” the statement said.

Rescue and search operations remain in full swing, the minister added.

The situation is rapidly evolving. State Emergency Service aviation has been deployed to extinguish fires.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians attacked Kyiv region with drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, leaving people injured and damaging residential buildings.
