Zelensky stated this during a press conference, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.
"I want a specific date. I am absolutely convinced that if the agreement signed by America, Russia – namely Putin – myself as President of Ukraine, and Europe does not contain a date, then Russia will later do everything to block this process. And not even with its own hands, but through certain representatives of Europe," Zelensky said.
He noted that an example of such a situation is the current inability to open negotiation clusters.
"You and I are witnessing relevant things when clusters are not being opened, there were problems with candidate status…Therefore, for us, once again, the EU means specifics, because these are security guarantees," he stressed.
He also emphasized that Ukraine will do everything to be technically ready for accession by 2027. "At least we will accomplish the main things," Zelensky said.
