According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with CNN.
Zelensky noted that although technical negotiations with the United States are still ongoing, he does not "see the opportunity to meet … until the question, the case of Iran will be closed."
The President called it a challenge that the same U.S. negotiating team — White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former President Donald Trump — is handling both Iran and Russia's war against Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, he understands that the United States is currently focused on the war with Iran, but it is important not to forget about Ukraine, where fighting continues.
He stressed that it is not an option to say: "we will speak about (Ukraine) a little bit later. … Ukraine is not 'a little bit later.' Ukraine is already in such a big tragedy, we have to find a way to manage this in a parallel way," he emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, Zelensky had previously stated that the war in Iran poses risks to weapons supplies for Ukraine, although European partners are ready to help address the situation.
