Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine's White Angel police evacuation units have rescued more than 38,000 people, including over 10,000 children.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Since the start of the full-scale war, the White Angel evacuation units have rescued 38,446 people, including 10,280 children," the ministry said.

The police teams continue to assist residents of frontline communities.

According to the ministry, they have delivered more than 756.9 tons of food, 1.2 tons of medicines, over 80,800 liters of drinking water, and more than 462.2 tons of other essential supplies.

In addition, White Angel officers carry out one of their most difficult missions – the evacuation of those killed in the fighting. Since the units were established, they have recovered and evacuated 561 bodies, allowing families to give their loved ones a proper farewell.

As reported by Ukrinform, a Russian drone recently attacked a White Angel evacuation team in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, injuring three police officers and two evacuated civilians.
