The threat of an offensive by troops from the Republic of Belarus in the Volyn direction is high, but Ukrainian defenders are ready to repel, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The threat of an offensive from the Republic of Belarus in the Volyn direction is assessed as high. Ukraine's defense forces are ready to fight back," the General Staff said, Ukrinform reports.
Earlier, the Interior Ministry informed that Russian military equipment is approaching the Belarusian border in order to try to enter the territory of Ukraine with some forces.
