This is stated in the address of the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy, posted on his Facebook page and seen by Ukrinform.
According to the head of the OCU, all those feelings and emotions that the Ukrainian people are experiencing now are quite understandable and justified, even such as fear, anger, despair, devastation, apathy or, sometimes, despair.
"War is the worst evil, manifestation of a great sin – fratricidal hatred. And it is very difficult to cope alone with all the troubles and pain of war. But remember: what is impossible for man is possible for God. He can support us in a difficult moment, strengthen our spiritual strength, save us, give us hope, and perform a miracle," the metropolitan emphasized.
"Dear Ukrainian people! No matter how difficult it is now, the path of our struggle will end in victory. God never gets embarrassed, and He is always on the side of truth. And the truth is not with the aggressor, the truth is with Ukraine!"

All we have is to wait and not to give up, not to lose faith but do everything possible for Ukraine to win over the aggressor. And that victory will come! May all of us have patience and strength," said Metropolitan Epifaniy.
