During its presidency of the UN Security Council in July, Russia intends to raise the issue of shelling of the temporarily occupied Crimea by the Ukrainian Defense Forces for discussion by the Security Council.

The Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya told reporters in New York on Monday.

According to him, the issue of shelling of Sevastopol will be discussed at the next meeting of the Security Council in July.

Answering journalists' questions, Nebenzya tried to counter an Ukrinform reporter who said that the "goals and objectives of Russia's special military operation" in Ukraine are murder, rape, and looting.
