In turn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization of Poland Krzysztof Gawkowski reported on X that Polish government services are working intensively in connection with the cybersecurity incident targeting PO. He assessed the case as "serious", noting that he would further update the public on its details.

According to the official, Russia will try to influence the course of the presidential elections in Poland, which will be held in the first half of 2025.
The first round of the presidential election will be held on May 18, with a possible runoff on June 1. As of today, the current mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, has the best chance of winning the popular vote.
