Border guards identify section where most attempts at illegal border crossings reported

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, reported this on television.

“The border with Romania. In fact, for a long time now, this particular section of the border has seen the highest number of attempts to cross the border illegally,” Demchenko said, responding to a question about the most common routes chosen by violators.

According to him, previously, the sections of the border with Romania and Moldova had virtually identical numbers of violators.

“Now, however, the section of the border with Romania is the most active,” emphasized the State Border Guard Service spokesperson.

As reported, organizers of the illegal smuggling of a conscript across the border were detained in the Ternopil region.
