War update: Fiercest battles in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors, 213 clashes on front lines

According to Ukrinform, this is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15.

“According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 81 airstrikes, dropping 244 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,752 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,131 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 70 using multiple launch rocket systems,” the statement reads.

The Air Force, Missile Forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 14 areas of troop concentration, two artillery systems, and two drone control centers of the Russian Federation’s army.

Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out three airstrikes using six guided aerial bombs and conducted 65 shelling attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russian army attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of the settlements of Hraniv, Vovchansk, and Starytsia, as well as toward Ternova and Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Novoplatonivka, Novoosynove, and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy made 17 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Yampil, as well as toward Drobysheve, Ozerne, Lyman, and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces launched ten assaults toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, and in the Zakitne area.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the invaders carried out 15 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 assaults by the Russian Federation’s army in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiia, and toward the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Dorozhne, Vilne, Kucheriiv Yar, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Oleksandrohrad and Vorone.

In the Huliaipole sector, the invaders carried out 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Huliaipole, and Pryluky, as well as toward Huliaipole, Hirke, Verkhnia Tersa, Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attempt to advance in the Shcherbaky area.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to June 15, 2026—amount to approximately 1,384,190 personnel, including 1,320 over the past 24 hours.
