War update: 244 clashes along front line over past day, Pokrovsk sector sees fiercest fighting

According to Ukrinform, the update was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook regarding the situation as of 8:00 on July 14.

Russian forces launched one missile strike using one missile and carried out 77 airstrikes, dropping 249 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 8,673 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,903 shelling attacks, including 41 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Ukraine’s aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 10 clusters of Russian personnel and two artillery systems.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement took place. Russian forces carried out four airstrikes, dropping 11 guided aerial bombs, and launched 56 shelling attacks, including two from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched 15 attacks near Vovchansk, Fyholivka, Starytsia, and Lyman, as well as toward Izbytske, Zarubynka, Hoptivka, Vilcha, and Okhrimivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops carried out three assaults on Ukrainian positions toward Podoly and Holubivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted six times to break through Ukrainian defenses near Novoselivka and Drobysheve, as well as toward Cherneshchyna, Lyman, and Ozerne.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces launched 25 attacks toward Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Pyskunivka, as well near Riznykivka and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops carried out three attacks near Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces launched 20 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces stopped 37 Russian assault operations near Toretske, Rusyn Yar, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiia, and Novooleksandrivka, as well as toward Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attacked four times toward Kalynivske and near Zlahoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops carried out 16 attacks toward Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces launched five assaults near Stepove and Plavni.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses since the beginning of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to July 14, 2026, amount to approximately 1,421,810 personnel.
