Assets of Yanukovych regime ex-officials to be confiscated for benefit of state

Davyd Arakhamiya, Head of the Servant of the People Party faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, said that the property of several ex-officials of the Yanukovych regime will be confiscated for the benefit of the state.
As he posted on Telegram, such a decision could be made after sanctions are imposed on the former officials.
"The next step will be to impose sanctions on them, freeze, and confiscate all their property, corporate rights, and other assets for the benefit of the state," the MP noted.
On February 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had signed documents regarding persons who were found to have Russian citizenship. These are several former ministers and officials of the Viktor Yanukovych regime, in particular Andriy Kliuyev, Dmytro Tabachnyk, Oleksandr Klymenko, Vitaliy Zakharchenko, Oleksandr Yakymenko.
