Russian strike hits apartment block in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"This morning, the invaders shelled Chuhuiv. Three hits were reported in the city. An apartment building was damaged. The information is being clarified," the official wrote on Telegram.

Last day, the enemy continued shelling the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk districts in the region.

In KupIansk, as a result of yesterday's morning shelling, two residential buildings, the premises of a kindergarten and a fire-rescue unit of the State Emergency Service were damaged. The City Park also came under fire, where a local man died of injuries.

In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv District, the enemy strike hit an apartment building, too.

Demining operations are ongoing across the region. Over the past day, the bomb squads of the State Emergency Service have neutralized 16 explosive objects.
