"At the Summit, the Prime Minister will announce up to £242 million in bilateral assistance to Ukraine, to support immediate humanitarian, energy and stabilisation needs, and lay the foundations for longer term economic and social recovery and reconstruction," the statement said.
It is noted that this contribution should demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine and "flexibility in responding to the urgent needs caused by Russian aggression".

As reported, the Peace Summit is expected to be attended by heads of state and government from all continents. The participating countries will develop a common negotiating position and submit it to Russia.
