Ukrainian intelligence urges residents in TOT to report Russian air defense systems

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense (HUR) is calling on residents of temporarily occupied territories (TOT) to report the locations of Russian air defense systems via the eVorog chatbot.

As reported by Ukrinform, HUR posted the appeal on Telegram.

“Air defense protects the invaders’ equipment and command centers, repels attacks from our Defense Forces, and covers the enemy’s offensive operations. Citizens, help make our military's advance more effective — report the locations of Russian air defense systems to eVorog. Any details about systems like Osa, Pantsir-S1, Tor, or Buk are important,” HUR stated.

Intelligence officials noted that air defense systems are large structures equipped with rockets, towers, and radars; they have barrels or launch tubes for missiles and are usually placed in open areas or near strategic sites; after missile launches, their trails are often visible in the sky.

HUR advises users to record footage discreetly and, after sending, to delete all photos, videos, messages, and clear the messenger cache from their phones.

“Each submission to eVorog is just as valuable as intelligence from scouts, drones, or satellites. Share this post with your relatives in occupied territories to gather even more information,” the agency emphasized.

As Ukrinform previously reported, drones attacked a Russian military airfield in Dzhankoi, located in temporarily occupied Crimea.
