The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the situation remained unchanged.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops conduct air reconnaissance and open artillery fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces in the border areas of Chernihiv Region and Sumy Region.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian invaders are attempting to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing towards the state border. The enemy opened fire near such settlements as Kharkiv, Derhachi, Pechenihy, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Pytomnyk and Korobochkyne. Russian troops launched air strikes near Verkhnii Saltiv and Rubizhne.
In the Sloviansk direction, Russian occupiers opened fire near such settlements as Novomykolaivka, Dibrovne, Kostiantynivka, Bohorodychne, Mazanivka, Kurulka, Chepil, Virnopillia, Nova Dmytrivka and others with artillery. The enemy launched an air strike near Bohorodychne.
In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops opened fire on civilian and military infrastructure near such settlements as Donetske, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka, Spirne and others. The enemy is attempting to conduct assault operations near Hryhorivka; battles are underway. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders successfully repulsed assaults near Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Serebrianka settlements.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelling was recorded near Berestove, Kurdiumivka, Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vershyna, Travneve, and the area of Vuhlehirska TPP. Russian troops conducted assault operations near Novoluhanske, Semyhiria and Vuhlehirska TPP, but had no success and retreated. The enemy launched missile and air strikes near Berestove.
In the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian occupiers opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces with mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, namely near such settlements as Kamianka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Prechystivka. The enemy launched air strikes near Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka. Ukrainian defenders prevented all enemy attempts to conduct assault operations near Kamianka, Novomykhailivka and Vuhledar. Russian invaders suffered losses and retreated.
Russian troops used radio-electronic warfare means to suppress satellite communication channels.
In the Southern Bug direction, mutual shelling with the use of cannon and rocket artillery continues all over the contact line. The enemy launched an air strike near Potyomkyne. In order to detect changes in the positions of Ukrainian forces and adjust fire, Russian troops conducted air reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles.
Russia’s naval group continues to block civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
