Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Among the rescued children are two brothers, aged 10 and 12, whose father was tortured to death for his pro-Ukrainian stance.
"After his death, their mother made the final decision to leave the temporarily occupied territory with her sons. Also evacuated was a two-year-old child along with a pregnant mother who had refused to accept Russian documents on principle. However, this refusal prevented her from leaving the occupation on her own. Once on Ukrainian-controlled territory, she safely gave birth to another child," Yermak wrote.
