According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 19:00 on Sunday, October 19, Russia launched an attack using three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and 60 attack drones — including Shahed, Herbera, and other types — from directions including Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea). About 40 of the drones were Shahed-type.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 on Monday, October 20, preliminary reports indicate that air defense destroyed or suppressed 38 drones over northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Three ballistic missiles and 20 drones hit 12 locations.
The attack is still ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace.
