"The occupiers transferred 42 children from the Kherson orphanage, who were abducted in 2022, to foster families in Crimea, according to IPC-Pivden correspondents. The children from the Kherson Regional Children's Home were transferred to foster families in occupied Crimea, where the Russians illegally took them in 2022," the report said.
According to information from the so-called senator from Kherson, Konstantin Basyuk, almost all of the children were placed on the peninsula. Some of them have serious health problems, and five are still in the Crimean Republican Specialized Children's Home “Yolochka.”
It is noted that the relevant information appeared in the Russian media after Basyuk decided to congratulate the abducted children on the New Year holidays.
