Soldiers from the 152nd Separate Jaeger Brigade captured a Colombian citizen recruited into the Russian army on the front line.
According to Ukrinform, the brigade reported this on Facebook, publishing a video of the prisoner's interrogation.
The Colombian claims that he was promised “legal work” in Russia, but instead was sent to war to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
The brigade emphasizes that Ukraine is acting in accordance with international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions. The prisoner has received the necessary assistance and is being treated in accordance with international obligations.
