Three humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of people have been agreed for March 30.

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this at a briefing on Wednesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"To date, three humanitarian corridors have been agreed for the evacuation of Mariupol residents and delivery of humanitarian aid to Berdiansk, delivery of humanitarian aid and evacuation of people from Melitopol, as well as for a convoy of people leaving Enerhodar for Zaporizhia in their own vehicles," Vereshchuk said.

According to her, columns of buses and trucks with humanitarian aid have already left the city of Zaporizhia.

"We demand that occupation troops abide by their commitments and allow humanitarian convoys through checkpoints. On the way back to Zaporizhia, people from Berdiansk and Melitopol will be able to join the humanitarian convoys in their own vehicles," the official said.

She also said that during the talks on March 29, the Russian delegation was given proposals on the organization of humanitarian corridors to the most affected 97 settlements in the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk and Mykolaiv regions.

On March 29, 1,665 people were evacuated from Mariupol and several towns of the Zaporizhia region along three agreed humanitarian corridors.
