First ladies of Lithuania and Latvia visit Irpin, Bucha

First Lady of Latvia Andra Apine-Levite and First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė visited Bucha and Irpin, Kyiv region.

"As part of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, First Lady of Latvia Andra Apine-Levite and First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė visited Bucha and Irpin in Kyiv region," the Kyiv Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

In Irpin, the first ladies of Latvia and Lithuania saw the completely destroyed residential buildings.

In Bucha, the wives of the presidents of Latvia and Lithuania laid flowers at the memorial cross on the site of mass graves.

In addition, together with Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko and Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Vitaly Vlasiuk, the first ladies visited the Irpin Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital. It was this health care facility that worked throughout the hostilities and provided qualified assistance to the residents of the community. At the hospital, the first ladies talked with the staff. The representatives of Latvia and Lithuania expressed their support for Ukraine.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration thanked the partners who had been helping Kyiv region since the first days of the war.

As reported, the 2nd international Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen is held on July 23 at the initiative of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. The participants will discuss the post-war future of Ukraine and the world.
