That's according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Ukrinform reports.
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister for European Integration Oleksandr Balanutsa and Director General of the EU Military Staff, Lieutenant General Michiel van der Laan discussed the need to continue this mission.
Balanutsa said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were currently forming new brigades, so there was a need for quality military training.

"We are grateful for the training already provided and urge you to maintain and increase the volume and pace," Balanutsa said.
Van der Laan, in turn, said that he supports the idea of continuing the training of Ukrainian military personnel as part of this mission.
The EU Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine was launched in the fall of 2022. It is designed for two years. However, if necessary, it can be extended.
