Ukraine wants FlyEye drones from Poland - minister

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi spoke about this with the Ukrainian media during his Warsaw visit, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

During a meeting with his Polish counterpart Mariusz Kaminski, Monastyrskyi focused on the issues of police cooperation following a series of important visits to Ukraine by representatives of the Polish police and rescue service over the last few weeks. He added that Poland provides significant assistance to the Ukrainian police, rescuers, and border guards.

"Now specifically, one of the missions that I’m discussing through the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the provision of special, very expensive FlyEye drones, which will help our military in Ukraine," Monastyrskyi said.

In turn, Kaminsky thanked Monastyrskyi on Twitter for "fruitful" talks in Warsaw. He noted that since May, this has been their third meeting dedicated to helping Ukraine and Ukrainian people fleeing the war, as well as issues of border security.

As reported earlier, the Armed Forces have been operating FlyEye reconnaissance drones manufactured by the Polish company WB Electronics since 2015. These UAVs allow reconnaissance of group and single enemy targets at a range of up to 50 kilometers.
