The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy used barrel, jet artillery and tanks to shell the Ukrainian positions in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Novopil, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Olhivske, Shevchenko, Burlatske, Novosilka, Drozhnianka, and Novodanylivka. It launched an airstrike on the Novosilka area," the report reads.
In the Volyn, Polissia, and Siverskyi directions, the situation has not undergone significant changes. The enemy used barrel artillery near Senkivka and Hremiach in Chernihiv region and Basivka and Kindrativka in Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued to attack targets in the areas of Kharkiv, Udy, Dementiivka, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Velyki Prohody, Prudianka, Protopopivka, Petrivka, Staryi Saltiv, Verkhniy Saltiv, Mospanove and Korobochkyne settlements. Enemy airstrikes were recorded near Staryi Saltiv and Mospanove.
In the Sloviansk direction, enemy shelling was recorded near Dolyna, Druzhkivka, Nortsivka, Dibrivne, Mazanivka, and Bohorodychne. Enemy aviation operated near Zalyman.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders struck the districts of Kramatorsk, Verkhniokamianske, and Hryhorivka with barrel and jet artillery.
By conducting offensive and assault operations, the enemy attempted to advance in the directions of the Lysychansk oil refinery-Ivano-Daryivka and Mykolaivka-Vyimka. Battles continue in the direction of Spirne-Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Bakhmut direction, enemy artillery and tanks struck the Chasiv Yar, Berestove, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Pereizne, Soledar, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, Vershyna and Zaitseve areas. Airstrikes were recorded near Yakovlivka, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Bakhmut and Soledar. The enemy attempted assaults in the directions of Pokrovske–Bakhmut, Vidrodzhennia-Vershyna, Vuhlehirska TPP – Zaitseve, but had no success and retreated.
In the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers used barrel and rocket artillery to shell the areas of Kurakhove, New York, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Opytne, Maryinka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka and Novobakhmutivka localities. Russian assault aircraft hit area close to Mariinka.
The invaders attempted offensive operations in the direction of Novoselivka Druha-Krasnohorivka and Spartak-Avdiivka, but had no success and were pushed back. Combat actions continue in the direction of Donetsk-Pisky and Novoselivka-Oleksandropil directions.
In the South Buh direction, the enemy used tanks and artillery to shell the areas of Posad-Pokrovske, Stepova Dolyna and another 27 settlements.
