This was announced during a media briefing in Warsaw by Polish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Paweł Wroński, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At 13:45 (14:45 Kyiv time), a phone call will take place between the foreign ministers of Poland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, as well as Türkiye and the United States, to discuss organizing the peace meeting and the overall peace process related to the Russia–Ukraine war,” Wroński said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he expects Russia to observe a ceasefire starting Monday and that he is personally prepared to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Türkiye on May 15.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy is also hosting several European counterparts on Monday to coordinate support for Ukraine and discuss strengthening regional defense cooperation ahead of Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s summit with EU leaders next week.
