War update: Ukraine repels 167 Russian assaults in past 24 hours

In a post on Facebook, the General Staff noted that Russian forces carried out two missile strikes using five missiles, 61 airstrikes dropping 127 guided bombs, and conducted 5,407 artillery attacks, including 123 salvos from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Additionally, the enemy deployed 5,939 kamikaze drones to strike Ukrainian positions and settlements.

Enemy airstrikes targeted, among other areas, the settlements of Stara Huta and Nova Huta in the Sumy region; Bilohiria, Orikhiv, and Prymorske in the Zaporizhzhia region; as well as Burhunka, Mykolaivka, and Lvove in the Kherson region.

Ukrainian aircraft, missile forces, and artillery struck seven concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, and equipment, destroyed four artillery systems, one air defense asset, and a Russian command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, four clashes were recorded. Russia carried out 16 airstrikes dropping 40 guided bombs and shelled Ukrainian positions 207 times, including 16 MLRS attacks.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks near Vovchansk, Ambarne, Fyiholivka, and towards Khatnie and Katerynivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops fought off two enemy assaults near Holubivka and towards Kupiansk.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 33 attacks attempting to advance near Karpivka, Ridkodub, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Torske and towards Olhivka, Shandryholove, Yampil, Dronivka, and Hryhorivka.

In the Siversk sector, Ukraine repelled five assaults near Hryhorivka, Pereizne and towards Vyimka and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one combat clash was recorded near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 Russian attacks near Toretsk, Yablunivka, Shcherbynivka and towards Stepanivka, Poltavka, and Popiv Yar.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 53 enemy attacks near Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Fedorivka, Kucheriv Yar, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horikhove, Novoukrainka, Dachne and towards Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces stopped 28 Russian attempts to break through near Tolstoi, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole, Voskresenka, Zelene Pole and towards Filiia, Iskra, Komyshuvakha, Sichneve, and Novohryhorivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, no active assaults were reported.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack towards Prymorske.

In the Dnipro River sector, Russian troops attempted to advance three times, with all of their attacks repelled.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were observed.
