Another large group of Ukrainian children and teenagers has been brought back from Russian-occupied territories within President Zelensky's Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak reported this on Telegram.

He noted that a 10-year-old girl had been bullied by her classmates because of her Ukrainian background, while her younger brothers in kindergarten were forced to sing Russian songs and collect money for the occupying army.

A seven-year-old girl and her two-year-old brother lost their mother due to the inaction of Russian doctors, and the occupation authorities attempted to send them to an orphanage despite the fact they had relatives.

A 19-year-old boy was tortured by Russian soldiers and threatened with execution because he had a relative serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces; after turning 18, he was forcibly added to the military register.

“Today all the children are safe, receiving the necessary support, help with documents, and the chance to start their lives anew in free Ukraine,” Yermak said.

He thanked the teams of Save Ukraine, Helping to Leave, the Joint Center of the Security Service of Ukraine for coordination of the search and release of prisoners of war and unlawfully detained civilians, as well as all partners who help bring Ukrainian children home.

As reported by Ukrinform earlier, within the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, a young mother and her infant were recently rescued from occupied territory.
