As an Ukrinform correspondent reported, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand said that Canada supports Ukraine and its territorial integrity, but that the final decisions regarding Ukraine, including its territorial integrity, rest solely with Ukraine.
She also noted that she had spoken on Wednesday with Andriy Sybiha about the course of peace negotiations, saying that Canada seeks to support Ukraine and the decisions it makes in the areas of the rule of law, peace, security, and territorial integrity, while bearing in mind the impact of these decisions on Europe and the rest of the world. Anand added that this issue would be actively discussed next week at the NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels.
