The Ukrainian delegation is preparing for meetings in the US with representatives of White House chief Donald Trump to continue negotiations following the results of the American delegation's work in Moscow.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening video address.

"We are preparing meetings in the United States of America. After the American team returns from Moscow and holds consultations in Washington, Rustem Umerov, Andriy Gnativ, and everyone else involved in the negotiations will continue talks with representatives of President Trump. We are waiting for news in the coming days regarding such meetings, contacts, negotiations – face-to-face meetings or telephone conversations – there is constant contact between all partners and between partners and Ukraine," Zelensky said.

He stressed that at the meetings in Geneva and Florida, Ukraine was heard and listened to, which is very important, because only by taking Ukraine's interests into account is a dignified peace possible.

The president said that he continues to communicate with the leaders of partner countries on issues of Ukraine's security at his level.

"Now the world clearly feels that there is a chance to end the war, and the current activity in the negotiations must be reinforced with pressure on Russia. Everything depends on this combination – constructive diplomacy plus pressure on the aggressor. Both components work for peace," the head of state emphasized.
