According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
“Five more children have been returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region,” the message reads.
As noted, among them are four children deprived of parental care, aged 9 to 16, as well as one adult who was previously a child deprived of parental care.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, a nine-year-old boy lived under constant shelling for four years because his family was unable to leave the occupied village. Russian shells regularly flew past his home, and mines repeatedly fell right into the yard.
It is reported that another girl, having reached the age of majority, was finally able to leave the occupied territory. She was left without water or food while Russian troops aggressively harassed civilians, particularly young girls, on the streets of their city.

Their return took place as part of the President of Ukraine’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative, with the assistance of the charitable organization Save Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, Prokudin emphasizes that the enemy in the temporarily occupied territories is intensifying pressure and making return routes increasingly dangerous.
Since the beginning of the year, 237 children from the Kherson region have been evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories.
