Casualties have been reported after Russian heavy artillery shelling of Kherson region’s Beryslav district.
The National Police in Kherson region said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy shelled the Beryslav district with heavy artillery. The urban-type settlements of Novovorontsovka and Vysokopillia, the villages of Koshove, Ivanivka and Osokorivka came under enemy fire, there are dead and wounded as a result of shelling,” the report reads.
It is noted that almost the entire infrastructure of Novovorontsovka has been destroyed, not a single pharmacy, shop or cafe has survived. The houses of the locals are unfit for habitation.
