Rolling blackouts will be applied in almost the entire territory of the left bank of Ukraine and Zhytomyr region on Tuesday, November 15.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced by National Energy Company Ukrenergo.

"On November 15, from 00:00 to 01:00 and from 05:00 to 24:00, there will be planned shutdowns in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Donetsk regions," the report reads.

No power outages are scheduled for other regions.

Ukrenergo reminded that such power outages are introduced following Russia’s missile and drone attacks on energy facilities across Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that more than UAH 2.5 billion is needed to restore the damaged TPPs and CHPs, and at least UAH 5 billion to repair facilities of electricity distribution system operators.
