Ukraine is working to involve countries from all continents in Peace Formula – Zelensky

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the press conference ‘February. The Year of Invincibility’, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have suggested steps. Today we see interest in fulfilling this Formula of Peace and support. I also want to thank the states for the fact that yesterday, or rather last night, 141 Member States of the UN General Assembly supported our peace initiatives. The next step that I see is to involve the states, as much as possible, in the first constituent summit. I want it to be effective, I want to really push and make sure that it takes place, where there will be a large number of countries,” Zelensky said.

According to Zelensky, he is working together with Ukraine’s team and international partners to ensure that not only the countries that immediately showed support for Ukraine from the beginning of the war but also representatives from different continents are involved in the Peace Formula.

“I would very much like, and we are taking appropriate steps, that the representatives of the great African continent are involved in the Peace Formula and this summit. We are also working and, to be honest, I would like to see India, I would like to see China there. Indeed, it is true. Our task is to involve absolutely everyone and show the world: here we have respect for territorial integrity, for the UN Charter, for life, for people’s right to live. I believe the more countries we attract from all continents, the more powerful our support will be,” Zelensky stressed.

A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented the 10-step Peace Formula in November 2022.
