Zelensky approves NSDC sanctions against 120 individuals, 287 entities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted a decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to impose sanctions on a number of individuals and legal entities, namely those related to betting and lottery business.
The relevant Presidential Decree was published by the Office of the President of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Decree on the Decision of the NSDC, dated March 10, 2023, Regarding the Application and Amendments to Personal Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions) affected 120 individuals and 287 legal entities.
Most individuals are Russian citizens. Some of those affected are the citizens of the United Kingdom, Poland, Netherlands, Türkiye and Cyprus.
The sanctions list includes such legal entities as Sportloto, Sportbet, Bet.Ru. Betcity, Matchbet, etc.
The sanctions will be in effect for a period of 50 years.
