Air defense forces destroy three Russian missiles, 16 Shahed drones

On the night of May 19, Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed three Russian cruise missiles and 16 combat drones.
"On the night of May 19, 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from the northern and southeastern directions with Shahed-136/131 combat drones and Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea. The launches of 22 Shahed drones and six Kalibr missiles were recorded,” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
The air defense forces and means of the air commands "Center", "West", and "South" of the Air Force destroyed three cruise missiles and 16 combat drones.
As reported, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine on the night of May 19.
All detected air targets moving towards Kyiv were destroyed.
