According to an Ukrinform correspondent in The Hague, Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren said this in a letter to the House of Representatives on the last working day of the outgoing Cabinet of Ministers.
"On December 22, 2023 and February 5, 2024, your House was informed about developments regarding the preparation and delivery of 24 Dutch F-16s to Ukraine. In addition to the previous update on deliveries of military goods to Ukraine of June 13, I inform you, also on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, that the delivery of the first aircraft will take place soon. Your House is hereby informed that the required permit for the export of military equipment to Ukraine has been issued," Ollongren wrote.

The new Dutch government is to be sworn in on July 2.
Ollongren earlier said in an interview with Ukrinform that the Netherlands was planning to transfer 24 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
According to her, this program is joint work with Ukraine, as well as with Denmark, the United States and other countries.
