According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
"More than 1,984 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of July 3, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 555 children were killed and more than 1,429 were injured of varying severity," the statement said.
Most of the children were injured in Donetsk region - 552, Kharkiv - 402, Kherson - 154, Dnipropetrovsk - 155, Kyiv - 131, Zaporizhzhia - 121.
On July 2, a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were injured in the shelling of Kharkiv.
On July 2, two boys aged 9 and 17 were wounded as a result of shelling in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
On July 1, a 12-year-old girl was wounded as a result of shelling in Novodmitrivka village, Donetsk region.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, an 8-year-old girl who was wounded in the shelling of New York village in Donetsk region on June 28 died in hospital.
